Executive Director
Lindsey Bodner has been the Executive Director of the Naomi Prawer Kadar Foundation since 2011. At the foundation, she advises a multigenerational board of directors on their charitable giving in the fields of education, science and health, and Yiddish. Lindsey leads the foundation team in strategic planning and works closely with nonprofit organizations in the US and Israel to realize the goals of the foundation and its grantees. Lindsey represents the foundation publically and oversees all aspects of the foundation’s grantmaking.
Lindsey is passionate about education and finding out-of-the-box alternatives to help students reach their potential.
Before her position at the Naomi Foundation, Lindsey worked at the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) in the Civil Rights and Education departments, Oxford University Press, and as an international women’s human rights advocate. Lindsey has lived, worked, and studied in Spain, Chile, Morocco, and Egypt and has traveled extensively. Lindsey served as Executive Articles Editor at CUNY Law, where she received her J.D. She speaks fluent Spanish.
Lindsey lives with her husband and their three children.
