Celebrating 10 Years of Outstanding Research
In a milestone year, the Naomi Prawer Kadar Foundation is proud to mark its tenth consecutive year of supporting the Kadar Family Award for Outstanding Research at Tel Aviv University — an annual program that recognizes four distinguished scholars whose work stands at the intersection of research excellence and teaching impact.
The 2025 laureates include: Prof. Liad Mudrik (Psychological Sciences & Neuroscience) for her exploration of consciousness and tests of AI and animal consciousness; Prof. Pavel Ginzburg (Engineering) for breakthroughs in nano-photonics and systems detecting hostile drones under extreme conditions; Prof. Doron Shabat (Chemistry) for innovative chemiluminescent materials and smart polymers for targeted cancer therapies; and Prof. Gal Oestreicher-Singer (Management) for pioneering research in AI-driven digital platforms and consumer behavior modeling. These scholars exemplify the Kadar family’s vision of lifting up ideas that are rigorous, cross-disciplinary, and globally relevant. Learn more about their work and watch video highlights here.
