This unique literary study of Yiddish children’s literature, created for the school magazines of the Yiddish schools in America, casts new light on the values and ideals that immigrant Eastern European Jews tried to transmit to the next generation.
Come celebrate the recent publication of Prawer Kadar’s book by Brandeis University Press! You are invited for cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and comments by Prof. David Roskies, Prof. David Fishman, and Bonny Fetterman.
