The Naomi Foundation™ was established in 2010 to preserve the legacy of Naomi Prawer Kadar, Ph.D. Naomi was a deeply humble woman, unaware of her personal impact. As a master educator, her life, professional and personal, scholarly and familial, was itself a beautiful form of social engagement.
The Naomi Foundation™ is devoted to supporting Jewish culture, Jewish educational growth, and Yiddish-language learning; to training the next generation of teachers in all fields and to inspiring youth and learners of all ages; and to exploring medical advances specifically in the field of oncology.
Naomi embodied the Jewish concept of tikkun olam, repairing the world. The Naomi Foundation™ strives to pursue her passionate proclamations of family and community values, her love of teaching, and her love of learning.
